Russia has resumed strikes on Kyiv, after a brief pause in strikes on Ukraine's capital to allow US envoys to visit.

Five people were killed and close to 30 were injured in the latest strikes.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump and Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin held a phone call where they discussed allegations Russia was launching sabotage attacks in Europe.

Russia pummelled Kyiv with drones and missiles on Tuesday, resuming its air attacks on the Ukrainian capital after a brief halt for the visit of US peace negotiators, and killing five people.
