Changing radio airwaves in the Pacific

ABC Radio National Podcast


Last night we heard from technology analyst Peter Marks that Chinese radio stations have taken up some of the shortwave frequencies in the Asia Pacific region since the ABC stopped shortwave broadcasting last year.


ABC's former Pacific correspondent Jemima Garrett explained what the change means for people on the ground and what impact it could have for Australia's role in the region.
