Opposition
Leader Annastacia Palaszczuk says when Queenslanders vote on September
they will know exactly what's in store if they elect
an Abbott Coalition Government.
"I
wish Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and his team well in the election
campaign. There is a lot at stake and Queensland is likely to play
a crucial role in the outcome," Ms Palaszczuk said.
"Queenslanders
have already seen what the LNP has done to their state and should not
give Tony Abbott a chance to repeat Campbell Newman's
slash-and-burn policies on a national scale."
"Queenslanders
know from their bitter experience with the Newman Government that
anything a Liberal or National Party politician says
before an election is not what they do afterwards."
"Queenslanders know that job cuts and frontline service cuts are in store if an Abbott Government is elected on 7 September."
"Queenslanders
know the twisted priorities of the LNP state government would be
reflected at the federal level and that Tony Abbott's
deep cuts to jobs and services would stifle economic growth and lift
unemployment just like the Newman Government has done in Queensland," Ms
Palaszczuk said.
