US President Donald Trump has recently stated that gaining control over Greenland is crucial for US national security.

In response, Denmark's prime minister, Mette Frederiksen, says her country now faces a "decisive moment" in its diplomatic battle with the US over its Arctic territory.

Despite Mr Trump's threats, a US representative says there is "no immediate threat" to Greenland.
