Across the country keen photographers have pointed their cameras up to the sky to snap the moon in shades of rust and blood red.
It is the last total lunar eclipse for three years, and has made an impression on people from Bondi Beach to Hobart and South Australia.
During totality, the moon turns red (hence the nickname "blood moon").
This effect is caused by the bending of light through Earth's atmosphere.
Take a look at what Tuesday night's blood moon looked like from across the country.
