EV sales growing worldwide as China dominates but US pulls back from transition.

Electric vehicles accounted for a quarter of global sales in 2025 and this figure may rise to 30 per cent this year, according to the latest annual International Energy Agency outlook report.

Higher petrol prices and the availability of affordable Chinese-made EVs are driving record sales around the world, analysis shows.
