Are our smart devices making us dumb?

From the calculator to maps apps, we have happily outsourced brain tasks like memorising phone numbers or finding our way to our clever devices.
Now most of us would have trouble remembering more than a few phone numbers if our smartphone battery went flat.
Educational neuroscientist at the University of Melbourne Dr Jared Cooney Horvath says the good news is that out brains are getting much better at looking for facts, but the bad news is that keeping those facts in our minds is getting harder.
